HyBred horseboxes started in the heart of Cheshire in 2011, sitting between junction 16 and junction 17 of the M6 it is perfectly situated on a Cheshire dairy farm. With 20 years of combined knowledge in bespoke coach building you can be assured HyBred can design and create a beautiful form of transport for you and your horse.

HyBred horseboxes was the dream of Lee Jones. He was born in Sandbach, Cheshire, one of the most famous truck building towns in the world. From a young age Lee was designing conversions and living compartments in trucks. At the age of 15, Lee got to design and build his very own motorsport camper which he used for his motocross hobby. At 16, Lee served 4 years as an apprentice with a horsebox builder and completed an nvq level 3 joinery at college.

Lee’s family could see his passion and desire to work for himself in this industry so his auntie sold her own horsebox and brought him a DAF chassis cab to see what he could do. Within 12 weeks the build was complete and a profit was made, Lee’s auntie had her money back and from there hybred horseboxes was created.

So impressed with the quality and style of what Lee had created his auntie and uncle dedicated a workshop on there Cheshire dairy farm for him to build his company. This was back in 2011 and his creative flare, style and passion has gone from strength to strength.

As well as building some of the most luxurious horse transport seen around the country, Lee has also built and designed a beautiful bespoke shoot trailer complete with gun cabinet, a champagne bar and a hot water tap made for making hot drinks on cold shooting days.

There really is no end to Lee's talent demonstrating any design is possible or even a simple every day run around can be achieved.
